Our Internship Process
Internship Application
Interested applicants will submit an internship application to be considered for the next available session of either: UN Human Rights Council Session in Geneva or UN General Assembly in New York City
Interns Selected
The Board of Directors, at the advice of the Committee of Internship, will make the final decision on who will represent HRA at the next available HRC or GA session. Decisions will be communicated via email.
Plan with Purpose
Selected intern will work with our Committee to write a research paper about a current and relevant human rights issue that they are passionate about. This will be an iterative process.
Advocate with Purpose
Once the research paper is concluded, the intern will have the opportunity to travel to Geneva or NYC and present their research at the HRC Session or the GA Assembly. They will also have the opportunity to advocate directly with State representatives.
